This Privacy Policy describes how Poker Spot ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and handles your information when you use the Poker Spot mobile application (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.
The App is primarily a local, on-device tool. Most of the data you enter — session logs, hand histories, notes, and bankroll records — is stored only on your device using local SQLite storage and AsyncStorage. We do not automatically sync this data to our servers.
If you purchase a Pro subscription or Day Pass, the transaction is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We use RevenueCat to manage and verify subscription status. RevenueCat may collect a device identifier and purchase receipt information to determine your entitlements. We do not receive your full payment card details at any time. If you grant notification permission, the App schedules local device notifications (e.g., daily return reminders, live session stack-count reminders). These notifications are generated and delivered locally on your device — they are not sent through an external server.
We do not run analytics, advertising SDKs, or crash-reporting services at this time. If we add such services in the future, this policy will be updated before they are enabled.
Any information handled by the App is used solely to provide you with the core features of Poker Spot:
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the App.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:
The App includes an optional hand-sharing feature that encodes a hand's notation into a deep link (pokerspot://hand/v1/...) or plain text that you can send to another player. Sharing is entirely user-initiated. We do not receive, store, or process the content of shared hands on our servers. When you share a hand, you are responsible for the content you choose to share.
All session and hand data lives on your device. You can delete individual sessions or hands from within the App at any time. Uninstalling the App will remove all locally stored data. If you have concerns about subscription purchase records held by RevenueCat or your device platform, please contact those services directly.
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the contact information below and we will take steps to delete it.
Your data is stored locally on your device and is subject to the security protections provided by your device's operating system. We do not transmit your session or hand data over the internet. While no method of storage is 100% secure, we take reasonable steps to protect your information within the App.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, if changes are material, provide notice within the App. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
