These Community Guidelines cover everything you publish through Poker Spot's social features: posts, comments, images, hand shares, Clubs, and your public profile. They form part of our Terms of Service, and by posting you agree to follow them. Breaking them can cost you your content, your ability to post, or your account.
The main feed is a poker feed. Hands you are proud of, hands you butchered, session results, graphs, bad beats, spot debates, study notes, milestones, live check-ins. That is the point of the product and it is what people followed you for.
Posts that drift into personal territory are allowed but not encouraged. A bit of life outside the game is human and nobody is going to get removed for it. But the main feed is not a general-purpose social network, and if the bulk of what you post has nothing to do with poker, we may remove it, limit its reach, or ask you to move it into a Club.
Clubs are group spaces for your crew, and inside one a normal social feed is expected and welcome. Banter, meetup planning, photos from the session, running jokes, whatever your group is actually into. The bar for staying on topic is much lower in a Club than in the main feed, and that is by design.
What does not change inside a Club is anything in Section 3. A Club is not a private loophole. Every hard line on this page applies in Clubs exactly as it applies in the main feed, whether the Club is password-protected or not.
If you own or administer a Club, you are responsible for what gets posted in it. Remove what does not belong, eject members who will not follow these rules, and report anything serious to us. Clubs that become venues for violating content will be removed along with the accounts running them.
Everything in this section is removed on sight, and the account behind it is banned. There is no warning ladder and no second look.
Poker Spot carries no adult content at any rating, and there is no setting to turn any on. There never will be. That means no nudity, no pornographic or sexual imagery, no depictions of sexual acts, and no sexually explicit text, in posts, comments, images, avatars, usernames, bios, or Club names. This applies inside Clubs, and it applies when you think it is a joke.
This is the most serious rule on this page and it is absolute. We prohibit child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and all child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including:
When we obtain actual knowledge of apparent CSAM on Poker Spot, we report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through the CyberTip line, preserve the related records as the law requires, cooperate with law enforcement, and terminate every account involved immediately and permanently. These decisions are not appealable.
Child safety point of contact: Administrator@pokerspot.gg, using the subject line CHILD SAFETY. Reports to this address are prioritized above everything else in our queue. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
No slurs, and no attacks on people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic. Poker Spot screens posts, comments, and usernames for slurs and blocks them before they publish.
On language generally: ordinary cursing is fine. This is a game of bad beats and we are not going to police the word "fuck". Slurs are a different category and they are stopped at the keyboard. Usernames are held to a stricter bar than posts, since everyone sees them without choosing to.
No targeted harassment, bullying, stalking, or organized pile-ons. No threats of violence against anyone, including over money owed from a game. No graphic violence or gore. No content that encourages self-harm or suicide. Needling someone about a cooler is poker; following them around the app is harassment.
Do not publish another person's private information, including their legal name where they have not made it public, their address, phone number, workplace, or images of identifying documents. Do not impersonate another player, a poker room, a brand, or Poker Spot staff, and do not misrepresent who you are affiliated with.
Poker Spot is for people trying to get better at poker honestly. Not allowed:
Poker Spot does not facilitate wagering and is not a place to organize it. Discussing stakes, results, and strategy is the whole point. Taking action through the app is not.
No fraud, phishing, fake giveaways, pyramid or investment schemes, malware, or links designed to deceive. Promoting your own stream, coaching, or content is fine in moderation, and fine in a Club that welcomes it. Affiliate link spam, engagement farming, mass following, and posting the same thing over and over are not.
Every post, comment, and profile in Poker Spot has a menu with Report and Block.
We aim to review every report within 24 hours. Reporting is not a voting mechanism: reviewing a report and leaving the content up is a legitimate outcome, and reporting things in bulk to silence someone you disagree with is itself a violation.

If you believe we got it wrong, email Administrator@pokerspot.gg with your username and what was removed, and we will take another look. Enforcement related to child safety is final and not appealable.
We may update these Guidelines as the product grows and as the rules we operate under change. When a change is material we will update the date at the top of this page, and where required we will ask you to accept the updated Terms in the app before you post again.
